Changing the axle gasket on an AC 610

   Hi guys - I cracked open the leaky axle of an AC 610 to replace the gasket. I found gunk or what looked like old grease on and all around the joining surface..... Doubt installed itself. I was wondering if I should install the gasket dry or grease it? Thanks!
