There is an Allis bale loader on the Lacrose WI craiglist for $150. The ad says shedded and not used in a long time. Looks like something that someone should add to their collection. No pics. Tom

Yes, I was lucky enough to purchase it a few hours ago.  It appears to be in great shape and has been in the barn since the early 1950's the seller said.  Doesn't appear to have been used all that much.  Nice country there also.

WOW, that is nice. Glad someone here got it. It is very beautiful over that way, especially this time of year.

I am glad someone on here got it. I just had to much to do today to even think about going after it. After the way my day went I should have as we broke down and drove within 45min. of where it was for parts for a Great Plains drill. Tom

He actually did not have it mounted on any tractor.  It had been in the shed for 50-60 odd years and this was his in-laws place so did not know too much about it.  He was going to make a feed bunk out of it but then reconsidered when he saw how good a shape it was.  I am also interested in what tractor it goes on.

That is a sweet find. I think that the newest tractor that they ever went on was the WD45. If I am wrong, someone correct me, because if I could get one that went onto a D17, or D14, I'd have to be all over that. Darrel

The C,CA,WC,WD and WD45 all had different mounting brackets. The WD and WD45 shared most of the mounting brackets but still had different parts.

Nice save.

There is one 2 miles from here on an unstyled WC. Sitting outside in the same spot since I got my drivers license. Never moved. That was 1970.
sometimes I walk out to my shop and look around and think "Who's the idiot that owns this place?"
