It wasn't me but I wish I was there.
Love the noise, vibrations, fuel and rubber smells.

I was there friday, but was wearing one of my cordova bracket finals shirts. Long day with more hours of rain delay than racing! got there at 9am, left at 11:30pm, with a 2 hr drive! We had to race SAT @ cordova, so we were worn out last night!!! oh well, I will sleep when I'm dead!!

I see I made a mistake on my original post...we were at Joliet on Fri. not Sat.,,,yes I agree there was a lot of rain to put up with,,late night, we got home at 3:30 AM...got to take some pictures of John Force and shake his hand..always liked him,he always seems very down to earth with the people and he loves kids and is always there for challenged kids, giveing them tee shirts, signing them and other things for them etc.,,,Force made his run at 4.9 so close to getting into the 3's,,,those nitro funny cars and dragsters are so powerful that when they go it is like an earth quake just came threw everything is just SHAKING..got to have those ear plugs in tight...love it at night with the candles lit from the nitro..Later..Wayne....Ps, thanks Jeff for the FYI.
