I am working on a 620 the motor was bad I got a replacement cckb I think it was out of a 720 my old motor has the mechanical fuel on the top of the motor the replacement has a plate over the mounting hole did the 720 not use a mechanical pump ? if so I should be able to just move the pump to my new motor

Many folks have replaced the mechanical fuel pump with an electric fuel pump. In the process they remove and cap off the old mechanical pump.
One reason they do this is because the mechanical fuel pumps vapor locking when they are worked hard.

Mike also as parts are nonexistent for these fuel pumps.
