I have a 7030 AC that is having some steering issues. When travelling down teh road I have to continually turn the wheel to the right to keep the tractor from going to the wrong side of the road. then sometimes it jumps to the right and you have to jerk the wheel to the left. This constant steering makes this tractor difficult at best to drive. I believe I have plenty of hydraulic pressure. Also the outside hydraulic lever takes time a minute or two to start working. It is as if it has to be primed before it can work. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like leaking piston seals in the steering cylinder. There always is some turning of the wheel to keep it straight, some are worse than others, but you know your tractor and if its much more than it used to be, Id take the steering cylinder apart first. Good luck |

I drove a OneSeventy down the road once for about 7 miles. If I remember right I turned the wheel 17 revolutions to the left. I wish I owned that tractor.

Steering issue is steering cylinder seals. Implement valve issue sounds like the stand-by pressure is low....set it at 500-600 psi (which is higher than spec).
