I was perusing the local lawnmower junkyard while looking for parts for my deutz 916. I happened across this Farm King 16/44. It's the same model we had when I was little. My dad and grandpa went halves buying one new. I spent a lot of time riding on their laps when I was little. Well years went by and it got relegated to the corner of the garage when it quit running with carb problems. I finally succeeded in begging my grandpa to let me fix it. I messed with it for two or three years to no avail and eventually got tired of fiddling with it and traded it to a buddy for....something that was probably worthless now looking back. Anyway, I lost track of it after that. Well after looking over this one I realized it was one and the same. It had a weld on the front axle I recognized.
My son and I plan on fixing it back up.
