There are a couple of auctions coming up in the area with snap coupler post hole diggers on them.  Knowing only that one is an "AC snap coupler post hole digger" and the other is a "Danhauser Snapcoupler post hole digger w/8" & 12" bits".  What are they worth?  Don't plan on drilling too many holes.  Were they any good, or am I better off sticking with my earthquake one man gas one?  Anyone here have one close to SEIowa they'd sell me cheap and avoid the auction?

I have a SC  No. 10 post hole digger. Don't use it often, but real handy when I do need it. This is, in my opinion, an item that is truely worth only what you are willng to pay. Meaning, how bad do you want it vs how bad does the other bidder want it. Have seen them go for $50 to an emotionally charged battle that ran up to $400. $50 is probably low, and $400 is , in my opinion, way too much. Somewhere in the middle is probably right. Again, this is an item that after your initial use, you dn't have a lot of call to use for a while. It's just kind of nice to have in the line up of SC equipment.

I priced several and didn't buy because they couldn't be easily adapted to fit on my pin hitch CA.  Several guys were asking 200 to 300 dollars for the augers, the low price one was in ok shape but needed seals, the 300 dollar one was in great shape with another auger.
