But that is okay....I am here to save your bacon again. So here it is: |

I saved them to my computer, opened them with a image editor, rotated them 90 degrees, saved them, re-uploaded them to the site, and attached them to a post. Simple as that.

Well, Guys,,Update # 99,,It has been many enjoyable days, weeks, months,, years gettin this project to this point and I am glad it is finally finished where it can go to work. Gonna load it on the trailer and take it up to the mountain place to do some clean up next week. Still thinkin bout building a bolt-on thumb for it,tho,,,The extra decals and pin stripeing that were on the industrials haven't come in yet so that will be "last job". I tried to re-do the piping to delete the selector valve but neither the BH or the loader would operate,,,,HMMmm,,,??? So, I relocated the selector valve where it can be reached from the BH seat as well as the tractor seat,,Works many wonderfuls now,,,, The rebuild of the Cessna Rotary Swing Cylinder was absolutely the biggest and most stressful job,,,but was well worth all the B,S&T's as it works so well now,,,!!!! OH,,,,one other thing,,,the swing is so forcefull,,you gotta just barely move the lever and it wants to haul azz,,,!!! There are some " 3/16" restriction orifices" in both of the 3/8" hydraulic hoses to the cylinder and I'm thinkin bout machining some new ones with smaller orifices like bout 1/4",,,,?? The Rotary swing cylinder uses 3/8" hoses , where all the other hoses are 1/2". What do the "Hydraulic Gurus" think bout goin to 1/4" orifices,,??? Edited by desertjoe - 06 Oct 2016 at 9:53pm |

Joe put a quick connect going in and out of the backhoe where you disconnect it. Then you can just unhook the hose and bypass the backhoe completely when you remove it. Yup probably will find this Dame suggestion back on page something in the single digit range or in an email I sent you a while back with photos of my d15 don't remember where but yes I did suggest it when you said you where going to hook up the hoe. Think I mentioned that the hose setup to just plug into the backhoe or to plug back into the tractor was a setup I got from a friend who rebuilds ford 800 serries tractors. He gets all the 4 wd setups he can find around here. Those are actually pretty cool with the standard transmission Sherman reverser and 4wd. But setup like that they want crazy money for them.

""So your the type who would pawn your mistakes off on others."" Gosh Dan,,,,don't hit me no more,,,even them wet noodles sting a little,,,,,, I just about got the modifications done and just need one dang street ell and I'da been done,,,,,looks better and cleaned up the piping nice,,,,, Say,,,I 'm thinkin it might of been you that suggested that I pipe up,,,er,,,,never mind,,,,, Study'in on this some more,,,I think I'll install a "bypass valve" just inside the two quick couplers goin to the B/H,,,cause when I remove the B/H,,the loader will not get any pressurized fluid,,,, Would'a been better if I had made the loader the priority feed and the B/H the slave,,,,,but the loader control valve dumps straight back into the reservoir,,so,,,,,no can do,,,but I like this set-up better,,,,, |

Well,,I went out and had a close look see at the selector valve piping and shouldn't be too big a deal for an old shade tree pipefitter like ole Joe,,,, I may even try to do it today if TSC has the fittings I will need. Thats one issue I got with this TSC,,it don't carry very many plumbing fittings and what little they have are all galvanized,,!! I told the little woman manager I was gonna sic ole Shameless on her for thet,,,,,she just rolled her baby greens and smiled,,,, Oh,,and Dan,,,me being "thrifty" I ain't gonna throw thet BRAND NEW selector valve with only 3 hours runnin time on it,,,in the trash,,,, I figure somebody here will need one just like it. It has 1" inlet and 2- 1" outlets,,,Hey, hey, hey, Um,ma, ma, ma, this heres brand new folks,,,still got the the new paint on it,,Um,ma, ma, ma. whata ya say,,,hey, hey, hey,,,,,, I'm still tryin to learn postin pics with Win10,,,chit,,,, |

Joe throw that selector valve in the trash. Take the hydraulic line from the pump to the backhoe control valve the output from the backhoe valve to the input of the loader valve they will be in serries and both will work great easy as pie. That is how I have 3 different hydraulic valves plumbed on my d15. It works great with open center valves.

Well,,my Series 2 1/2 D14 done got another job under it's belt with great results,,,,, I had been needin to install a bigger line for the outlet of the kitchen sink,,,so I dug the trench out to the south bout 100' long and it done many wonderfuls,,,,,YEA,,, bout halfway,,the engine just up and died and had lost fire,,,,found the new points I had installed during the rebuild had pitted real bad,,,so I filed the contacts and fired that mother back up,,,anyways,,finished the ditch up and now gonna wait for cooler weather to run the line,,,,, There is ONE MORE THING,,,for the hydraulic/ backhoe GURUS here. Whenever I had to move the tractor back,,I kept havin to get off the "backhoe seat" and reach down to shift the selector valve from backhoe to loader,,,raise the bucket,,shift valve back to B/H,, then crawl back over to the B/H seat to move B/H,,,move back to selector valve,,,shift back to loader, lower bucket,,,shift back to B/H ,,,,CHIT,,,what a CF,,,!!! Ya see what I;m talkin bout,,,????,,,,, This .little tidbit is a BIG PITA,,I'll tell youse guys for sure,,,,I'm really wantin to relocate the selector valve to where I can reach it from the B/H seat,,,,OR,,,,,do away with it completely,,,,?? I remember the 3 B/H's at work didn't have a selector valve ,,,so,,,What is the net affect of removing the valve,,,,,?? It gonna be a good sized job to relocate the valve but,,,,,,???? Needin some kind words and,,,and,,,remember its Sunday,,,,, |
