Hearing all the damage from tornados and heavy downpours across the country - even North Carolina - leads me to ask the question Is Everybody All Right?
Looks like this one caught the midwest, the south, and the northeast. I was soaked twice yesterday - old men should not repeat not be out in heavy rain - so I am well aware of just the rain that came.  And frankly that was nothing compared to the damage some of you may have suffered.
My thoughts and Prayers are with those who suffered damage.
Good Luck!

Hope EVERYONE is safe!  Buildings can be rebuilt, but I am worried about the 180 or so that they figure are dead.  WHAT a spring this has been.  Just heard this AM about the one tornado that was TWO MILES wide.  WOW!!  I'm praying for all of you.  May God keep you safe.

Kid has had orders for his brush clamps and graple buckets from Iowa , has 5 orders he is working on now for people cleaning up after the storms. Seems the shortage of this type of skid steer attachment has been depleted in the regular dealer supply.

I would like to add my concerns for fellow forum members living in the effected states. I hope everybody is safe ? It's been reported in our newspapers that 259 people have lost their lives. I'm unsure whether this number is for one day or for the past week ?
I am unfamiliar with tornadoes (we don't get them)but surely the residents must get some warning ? If thunderstorms are in the area, you must surely take precautions ? If the tornadoes come in the hours of darkness, then that's another story. Stay safe.

Watching the tornado damage on the evening news... holy cow. I feel sorry for all those people. We had a tornado go through our community last spring missed us by less than 1/2 a mile, neighbors across the section are still rebuilding as well as a lot of people in town. Lucky for us nobody was killed. Everybody needs to do some exra prayers.

No damage here. A lot of the damage was in northwest Georgia. Alabama had the most damage and most deaths. The Georgia State Defense Force is on duty guarding residential areas and businesses to prevent looting. Talk about low life scum. This was one of the worst round of storms I can remember. Prayers for everyone whose lives are affected by these storms.

We had a F5 come through several years ago. And yes cars literally went flying. One took over three months to find. Went over 30 miles. sad to say but we were fortunate for we only lost one life. And I know it is not so where you live.

The death toll just keeps rising but the injured isn't as bad as it was in the 1974 storms, the formally worst storms.  I fear we may not hear from some if their power and internet lines are down, not to mention their homes.

Paper said the death toll was so high because so many homes in the area don't have basements or any kind of shelter nad the storms happened at night.
