It's the plow that came with the WD before snap coupler. This one has been converted to the snap coupler eye. Can't tell you the model but there aren't a lot of them around.

I think it's called a WD Pickup Plow and it has the WD drawbar still stuck in it. I believe the drawbar usually stays with the tractor.
I guess it's a 45 drawbar that is stuck in it but it can be used either with the pin type drawbar of the WD or the Snap Coupler drawbar of the 45. Edited by Lonn - 13 Apr 2016 at 3:20pm |

Yes it is a WD Pick Up Plow. I wouldn't use that with a snap Couple set up without running a chain under the drawbar to keep it from flipping up if the bell disconnects. That plow was made to bolt to the WD pin hitch drawbar. The connections on the lift arms won't let go like the Snap Couple lift latches do if the plow come loose underneath and it will dig in at the front and flip up driving the seat and operator into the steering wheel.

Amen to that. It is very scary (afterwards, you don't have time to be scared while its happening) to be plowing along and all of a sudden the tractor picks up speed, a strange noise from underneath and then you realize the lift latches are releasing; all while you are trying to hit both the brakes or at least one of the clutches and close the throttle all at the same time. Add to that trying to get out of the way of the plow so it doesn't kill you if the lift latches don't let go properly. Actually it probably takes more time to read the two paragraphs above than for it to happen in real life. If you use a chain as a back up safety, I would either bolt it in place, or mouse the hooks with wire so it can't come loose. Remember Murphy's Law. Robert |

This WD didn't have the lift latch update, just the SC bell so the lift links were pinned on
