A snap coupler is a type of rear hitch. It will have two lift arms sticking out of the rear, and a bell-shaped reciever under the belly of the tractor. This bell-shaped reciever should be right under the transmission, or in the general area. Some Bs may have had a pin-hitch, which is similar. Pin hitch reciever does not have the bell. Both types of hitch recievers have a big spring that runs diagonally in the middle of the reciever. The implements have a tongue with an eye that engages the snap coupler bell under the bottom, and two chains that lock into the rear lifting arms.

Ther's something under the belly of your tractor, but I can't tell what it is. Picture gets too fuzzy when I blow it up.

Dream, the B snap couple bells that I have seen bolted to the drawbar after it was turned around backwards. B's didn't have a "pin hitch" like the early CA's as far as I know either.

What doesn't look like a 54? It has electric start, foot brakes and a distributor.

I have to agree with C Tucker.  Snap Coupler B's were as scarse as Hen's Teeth.  I frankly never sold one.  In our area they wanted CA's for two plow work.
In any event if it does have snap coupler run don't walk and pay the man what he wants.  It is that valuable.
Others can give the normal price for the tractor.  When you get it take good care of my favorate.
Good Luck!

Wouldn't have snap coupler as the Woods mower deck that is on there now takes the spot of the draw bar. Need more info to tell value. Location, Implements, etc. We can't just put a price on a picture. If I were buying it I would ask to see it out of the shed operating. This includes mowing.

Guys,

It is an estate tractor. Given that it was family, I'd go higher than normal if I were you.

If it runs - $1000 to $1500 with the mower, if it don't - then figure $400-$900.
