With our D-14 that we just overhauled...once you run it for a while and use it then shut it off...It does not want to restart right after getting it all warmed up. Whats wrong? Adjusted timing and it is all where it is suppose to be. Is it a carb setting?

is it warm, or is it hot?we had a farmall 656 gas that would do the same, it could be a plugged vent on the gas cap,a weak coil, plug wires my need replacing,or maybe even vapor lock of the fuel.if we pulled started, it would fire right off.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Austin, sounds like coil.  Pull starting should work better than starter with weak spark.  I think.    Also, make sure the centrifical advance mechanizm in the distributor is not sticking when hot.  This happened to me on a WD45 when I tried to hand crank it.  Eight years ago, bruises just went away.
