I might be in the market for for a D17 later model ready for work, need to know what I I would have to spend for a fairly nice one .
might have have a G sell to help fiance new tractor.

I would say that the cost would depend on what series D 17 you would want. Also gas or diesel. Just guessing for an early d-17 1500 to 2000. Where a series 4 would average 4 or 5 thousand. I have noticed very nice series 4's go even higher. That being said there is always a deal to be had if your lucky enough. I did see 2 nice series 4 diesels and several pieces of equipment go for 3000 each. All a matter of right place, right time. Happy hunting and Good luck!
