Hey guys I have been working on this B for a few months now. Thanks for answering all my questions. Your help has been greatly appreciated!!
I have been hesitant to post pics but some here have convinced me I should. Still got a long way to go but it's getting there. I lowered the tractor by flipping the final drives and front end. Lowed the seat 2.5" and shortened the steering column 6.5", added WD fenders and brackets, painted the wheels and new rubber all around. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Lowered LED headlights Front end before we pie cut it and re-welded it. 13.5* if I remember correct ![]() Mocking up brake pedal angles ![]() ![]() Filling brake lever holes in seat rails. ![]() ![]() ![]() WD fender brackets cut and B drawbar pins welded on. ![]() WD fender and brackets mounted to B final drives with draw bar pins as locators. ![]() Seat rail mounting brackets welded on the final drive. I have seen this done before and have always been curious; how did you add/check the fluid in the final drives?

Photo of the front end added.
Guys I have hundreds of photos. If you want to see something just ask. Cpg, To check final drive fluid you need to pull the pan off the bottom (what is now the top) of the drive. You can add fluid the the drain plug or do it with the pan off. |

Very slick. I am guessing that if you post the 100 pictures we will look at them:) I like this stuff but have never done much custom work. It sure makes a different looking tractor. Maybe AC orchard? Lets see a picture of you setting in the cockpit. Do you still get on from the left front?
Regards, Chris |

Shameless you know something about a V8 swap?
I'm thinking about a turbo on this motor or rebuilding it to get more RPM's. |

Yes you did Steve. Thanks for the encouragement and kind words. Chris, Yes I still get on from the left front. Or it is very easy to step on the draw bar and step over the seat also. Not sure I have any pic with me on it. I will work on that. Edited by skeeters65 - 08 Jan 2016 at 7:49pm |

Low Clearance B for lawn mowing only if there is enough room for a belly mower. Work on making it shorter by about 24 inches.

At the very least, post some pictures of the front and work (in progress) and some varying angles of the tractor.

Ken I was looking at that wondering just what you could actually do with it. My uncle who helps me with the haying is getting older and having trouble getting on and off a d serries tractor I will be adding a step but thought how cool it would be if you could lower a d17 and still bale hay with it.
I still think that B looks amazing and talk about a great law mower. |

What do ya mean your were hesitant to show pics. Are ya crazy? Everybody loves this stuff man!! Even the purists would get a kick out of it I would think. Its not like the B is a super rare Tractor with over 100,000+ out there.... LOL! Looks cool! Steve@B&B |
