Is the 262 gas engine a GM motor. I know someone who has it inplace of a diesel in a wd45. We are looking for a power steering pump and a manifold. ANY info would be helpful. Thank you.

The 262 gas is a Buda engine. Same block as the Diesel 262 with a different head on it.

Chevy 6 cyl's were the 250 and 292cid. So whitch do you need, a Chevy manifold or a Buda? You could have a Chevy engine in the WD if you used the adapter plate off a Gleaner I think.
