I have a Marvel Schebler TSX-159 carb.  I'm wondering if it will work on my 1939 B?  If so, do I need to modify it?  I'm thinking I may be better off buying a new one.  My tractor is a hand start.  Thanks for your advice.

My first thought would be are the bolt patterns the same or is the 159 wider?

I think you will find it is too big {bolt pattern} and may be jetted for a larger ci engine. Would probably fit a WC or WD.

I have had good luck with the new Zenith carbuertors.
I have this carburetor on both of my C's
