Does anyone have an exploded diagram for a model B starter motor? I want to see what it looks like inside before I go in.
I'm very curious to see if the copper contact on the starter body can be, or should be replaced. Mine is worn down quite a bit. I already need a new mechanical starter switch. Thanks for any help!

Scott, I sent an email to the address listed on your profile. I attached an extract from the I&T "tractor standard units" manual that covers the starters. I hope that helps! As for the copper contact. I see that Steiner has them on page 28. I'm sure others do too.
