Our branch hosted the EDGETA National last April. After the show our President got a letter from EDGETA complaining about how our branch operates. We now find out that more than half of our branch activities are not covered by EDGETA Insurance.
IF all branch activities are not covered by insurance why pay dues to EDGETA?
It is the general feeling of the membership, if the EDGETA insurance does not cover all our branch activities we need to look elsewhere for insurance coverage.

seems to me that the only thing that edgeta wants to cover or aproves of is just having your tractor in a line in a show and if there was a non club tractor there that would blow the whole deal       and really are  you going to get anything out of the insurance if someone had a claim                       iam not agianst paying dues to help and keep a group organized and having some form of saftey            but them clubs get down on me when i welcome everyone to my 4th of july show which by the way is is covered by or shops liability     i know here they will not let garden tractors pull at any club event or if they are tolaty stock theycant pull eventhe stock weights can only be inthe stock location             i would also like to here some input becauase the next generation does not even care about the things we and our fore fathers did or how we did it

I'm a member of Branch 134. Dad has been inducted into the EDGETA "Hall of Fame". We are mostly a pulling club, but do some other fun events. We hosted the SW Regional Show  a couple of years ago and were told by a two different national officers that it was the best organized show they had ever attended. Kip

Kip
I wish you could read the letter our Branch 89 club received from EDGETA outlining all the club events we participate in as a club, where Branch 89 members in good standing are not covered by EDGETA Insurance.
Branch 89 will not renew their EDGETA membership for 2016, We will join the 17 other EDGETA branch clubs that left EDGETA in 2015.
17 Branch clubs dropping out in 1 years time. Makes one wonder. They are not the only game in town.
