Brian, I don't know the part #.  If you have picture of it or site where it shows it I can identify it. Thanks a bunch for the help.  I found one at a savage yard, but don't know yet what kind of shape its in, till i hear from them. Would like to have new one , But that's not possible I guess. By the way my muffler is in good shape

You need to know that AGCO has many Allis-Chalmers parts books on the web and it's
free!.
Go to agcopartsbooks.com
sign in as guest user (great feature)
next pick the brand which is AGCO Allis
model 6040
hit search.

Enjoy looking all the parts you can't get. But it helps
when talking to the salvage yard.
Your part is in the air intake and exhaust section on page 36.
The three columns, you can slide divider right or left to make wider or narrower.

Armed with the part number, start calling the vendors here.
If you want to try official AGCO channel, find a large Massey Ferguson dealer nearby and they usually could order the part, if AGCO has it.
The 160 used the same exhaust elbow after a certain s/n.
I would think any good auto exhaust shop could fab one.
Good luck with the maybe stuck studs and nuts.

Another idea, if you found a Perkins engine expert, good chance that
manifold/elbow was not created just for Allis-Chalmers, maybe Perkins sells it.
