depends if you want to streach the frame somone on here had some with turbocharged diesels they looked real sharp if there is one that fitts without frame or clutch mods i would like to see because that is what i would like in my 616

A B/S Vanguard or Kohler Command would make a nice swap I would think. Don't know how much work it would be though...

My 720 has been re-powered with a gas 23 hp B/S engine, it works very well.

Fellow here in manchester but a 3 cylinder kubota in his. I lot of things did not work correctly without some serious reengineering

tracy , havent done a honda but my honda rep did supply us with catalogs for allthe stub shaft s and muffler options havent compared general engine dimensions but the briggs is minimal clearance all the way around

Larry Karge's 720 was at Hickory Corners approx ten years ago; it looked professional. That was before I became interested in 720's, now wish I had pursued details.
