I'm getting ready to put a L59 woods on my B. I have all the brackets figured out and almost on. Before I burn up my last brain cell trying to figure out the belt. Does anybody have a diagram or pic? Thanks in advance O.O.

Follow this link to the Woods home page and download the manual titled "L59 & L306 AC B&C", you will be glad you did.  A picture is worth a thousand words, and words and pictures together in a step-by-step, well you can't beat it!  You may want to "save" the file and print it out to have there with you when you do it.  I know I sure did and it still took me and my wife an hour to figure it out the first time.  Don't be afraid to move the deck positioning (front to rear) and both pulleys to get the tension just right.  If you are using a new belt, you should re-tighten after 1/2 hour of use.  Good Luck!

This may sound like a completely stupid question, but does Woods still make the L59 mower deck?

I don't recall ever seeing a new one for sale, just used and parts.

O_O...I do know that the Woods number on the belt is #3652 for the L59 Woods mower,if that helps you any. Also, when I purchased that belt straight from a Woods dealer in Kansas, they had put a piece of paper in the box with the belt that shows exactly how the belt is routed. If you have a fax machine I can fax you a copy of the diagram or if you have an e-mail address for me,I can scan it and send it to you in an e-mail form. Let me know,if interested.  Rick
