Finally got my engine apart. Nice to see that the worst rod journal is .0003 out of round and the bearings were pretty good. I really think this engine was overhauled and then sat a long time. The oil pump and inside of the pan have quite a bit of scaly rust on them. Somebody some where managed to break both mounting ears off the pump body. They're welded on, but if I could get a new pump, I'd replace it. Anybody have a very good one they would part with?

Get me the number off the brass tag on your's, I have one, want to be sure it will work for you. Mine has the bolt on relieve/by-pass valve.
