I went to my local agco dealer looking for some parts today for my 41 wc. It seems that things are no longer available. Have been looking for the seal between torque tube and rear diff pinion. Also packing seal between Trans output shaft and torque tube. Not sure where to look next. O-rings?

I'd try Sandy Lake Implement, and see if they have what you need in the back...

Seems a shame. Very sorry to hear that report.
I agree with Madator. Check out Sandy Lake. They are one of the advertisers on this page and are outstanding. Good Luck! Bill Long |

Agreed Sandy Lake (Brenda) may be able to help? Also you may have to get the sizes and order from a seal place like KAMAN?

Unless Im mistaken aren't those both cork packings? If not, do you have the part numbers? Dealer your dealer search other dealers or the Depot?
Sounds like this dealer looked up the parts, the fact that they are not available are no surprise to me, the tractor was built in 1941. Go to your Chevy dealer and ask to get parts for your 1970 pickup and let me know how that works for you. |

Walked into the local AGCO dealership here with a list of about a dozen or so parts needed for a CA hydraulic pump. Walked out with everything I needed and change from a $100 bill.
Not all AGCO dealers are created equal. Hervey |

Got a little time to look. If I am correct the first part is the gasket between the two housings? Part number 70202569 which is discontinued. But you can make that with gasket material from NAPA. The second number is 70202860 which is a cork ring and is discontinued. Im wondering if you cant take the specs of the ring and find rubber square ring to fit in its place or again check with NAPA and see if you can get a thicker cork gasket material and cut a ring out?
Hope that helps. Jim |

Say what you will about AGCO and it's dealers.
Just keep in mind that we are looking for parts that go on 20,30,40,50,60 & 70 year old equipment. We should feel lucky when the dealers can get the parts. Any way I put out an ask to find the drawbar anchors that bolt to the final drives of my D-14. Made calls and sent emails with no luck. I turned to my local AGCO dealer this past Wednesday and AGCO had the parts and I got them on Friday. The parts are pictured below. Also keep in mind that must of the guys behind the parts desk were still nursing after this equipment was used. Also, not all AGCO dealers dealt with Allis Chalmers equipment so they do need a little help. If you can give them part numbers up front this is a big help. |

I wouldn't blame it all on the dealers. The one I deal with never sold Allis but they don't mind looking up parts for me or when I have the part number do everything they can to get it. Have even givens other dealers numbers that have or have the part at least listed for me to call. Always been a big help even when they aren't making a nickel off of what I'm asking for. The crazy part is they told me that the corporations, they do both agco(Massey, New Idea) and new holland equipment, that the big corporate bosses don't want to supy parts for anything older than 7 years old. The guy at the counter told me I need to buy a news machine joking around. I told him show me a new tractor that'll still b around 50 years after its made a still running just as well as the day it came off the assembly line and I'd buy it. He told me to stick with my D-17. I like dealing with them Mullinix & sons in Dayton, MD with anybody close. They are a great group of guys to deal with
