I have a pto attachment for our 1976 716H garden tractor which was used to operate a 7"x41 ft grain auger. The attachment costs over $400 in 1976.

$250 sounds high to me...it would be great if there were more uses for these, but I've only ever known one guy to actually put one to use. They are cool showpieces, but I've had several fall in my lap and have found them tough to sell. They do a great job collecting dust ;)

I don't think there was a 540 adapter for the PowerMax tractors. There were two kinds for the Sovereign/B-Series tractors. One was a "speed jack" and the other was made by Simplicity.
http://www.simpletractors.com/attachments/speed_jack.htm There are some pics of the Simplicity unit in this thread: http://simpletractors.com/Club2/topic.asp?whichpage=1&TOPIC_ID=124320& |

I'll bet that it's chain driven, 2000 RPM small sprocket to large sprocket, what ever it takes to get 540.

First question, How many want/need one. Dusty
