There was a good sounding D21 Series 2 with new tires in Farmtalk newspaper. I called the guy and he said he had owned it since '73 and it was a good old tractor. He sold it for $6000, and it went to Kincaid Kansas. I was just curious if anyone on here got it. If so, congratulations. It sounds like it would have been a good one.

Henry,
It seems like that happens more often than not when I get a chance to go look at things, but sorry to hear it happened that way to you. The guy sure made it sound good on the phone, and didnt mention anything about 5th being out. I thought the price in the paper was listed at 6, so if he raised that on you, that is a real shame. I wasnt trying to drag anyones personal business around too much, I was just curious if anyone on here had got what sounded to me like a really good deal. Sorry it isnt turning out that way.

I have no problem with your post. A friend called me and said it was for sale again. I had it purchased once before and he backed out on me, several years ago.I knew that it jumped out gear. ALso has painted grill that is beyond repair. Good points are it has new firestone tires, mexican hat duals,,and fender extensions. Also 3-point and pto. Didnt know what he had it listed for. Called him on phone and gave the price he asked. When I picked it up next moring, he said he had 9 more calls. Still worth the money, but I didnt steal it buy any means! Henry se/k!
