    Posted: 30 Apr 2015 at 12:04pm
Well at our local auction houses's lawn and garden auction last weekend, I purchased a 912 Hydro lawn tractor with a 38" mower deck. Everything seems to be there and in good shape. I paid $200 for it. Where could I get an original manual? What are you guys' thoughts. Thanks. Joe

You done great with that purchase!
I've that 912's big brother. The 914 hydro. He's next on the list to get brought back to tip top shape!
Got the 712s fired off and ran it a few times to get it dialed in this afternoon after getting her home last week.
Then mounted and greased the matching 36" tiller after removing the stuck mower deck.
Just need the belt from the tractor to the tiller!

Just got a new battery today and installed it. That's all it needed to run perfect. The Kohler engine looks like new. This motor is a dark blue color. Is this the original color or has it been repainted? It may have been rebuilt, i'm not sure. Thanks, Joe.

Dark blue would indicate a replacement engine. They were originally black.

I found that it has the K341 Kohler in it now so it is actually a 16 horse tractor instead of the factory 12 horse. And it has a 42" deck not a 38" one.
