The front loader on my AC 720, I think it's an ARC 600? ...won't hold, and releases when I pull lift handle all way back....like a float position, and I believe it may be in the hydraulic control handle valves / spool?
What / where can I find replacement for it?
What's the specs on that valve assembly, and what companies might have one?
What model valves would fit it from Northern Hydraulic Co?
thanx for any suggestions?

Take it to a local hydraulic shop. They can check the valve body out and make any required repairs to your existing unit.

Myron is right. Most Hydraulic outfits can fix you up with whatever is needed to get the valve working correctly again. Usually, its a bad o-ring or somethin' silly like that. Its rare that a spool would need to be replaced unless the system had a lot of dirt in it. I do a lot of hydraulic work here at work, and that's usually what it is most of the time. A cut o-ring or seal. HTH

I believe you are probably right fellows! I had quit having small lift cylinders rebuilt, because it's now cheaper to buy new ones at the farm supply stores, than to pay for labor and parts to rebuild. I was just thinking there would be a simple replacement somewhere. But not knowing all the exact specs, and it's 40 yrs old, probably best to just rebuild what I have. What pressures, gpm flow rates, other hydraulic facts, ect. , does the ARC 600 and AC 720 produce? thanx for all your help!

Nice looking unit you have there. The ARK 600 loader was made just for these tractors.
I don't have any particular specs on the loader, but the hydraulic volume on the tractor is 5 gpm (I think....).
Where possible, I tend to repair rather than replace things. It keeps original parts on the tractor, and I would rather support my local hydraulic and fabrication shops than buy cheaply made stuff from China or India. My 2 cents.
