I found this unused 5 gal oil can at an auction I was looking for information on when it was made and what the oil inside goes to it says 930219 gear lube and below that it says 715 any info whould be great thanks

I would guess that metal oil to be before 1980, somewhere in that time they went to buckets, just basing that on the fact that I can remember Dad buying teflon spray in those cans like that when I was around four years old and that was 1980.  Nice find!!!

the can is in good shape has a few dents in it but for being in a barn for many years its in decent shape I baught it in a consignment sale in trufant mi there wasnt too much allis stuff there lots of junk actually
