 Topic: need electric fuel pump

I need some help i need an electric fuel pump to increase my fuel presser.
I need to increase it 25 to 30 psi. Where can i find one ? any help would be grateful,Thanks.Jeff.

Only ones I know that put out that pressure are the in-tank type , small pumps I have used have 12 PSI tops that i have seen . In tank require cooling from tank content to have long life.

Jeff; Check with your local speed shop, or Summit Racing, Barry Grant, Areomotive, Holley, Mallory, and others have pumps that will work.

What's the application? As Brian mentioned, you'll need a racing pump for that kinda of PSI. Just make sure whatever you're feeding is able to handle the pressure. Most carburetors usually will handle 5-6 psi at the fuel bowl. Anymore than that (unless its a big inch Pro Stock engine with a pair of 1100 CFM Dominators) will have problems. If its a late model automotive F.I. engine most need 30-45 PSI at the fuel rails. For either application, don't forget to install a fuel pressure regulator in the fuel system, and on the electrical side, don't forget to wire in a relay to handle the electrical load of the pump... HTH

most important thing on a fuel pump is volume not pressure. Are you trying to feed a ROOSA that much? I use a HOLLEY 15 psi on my Roosa. Too much feed pressure to a Roosa will spike its transfer pump pressure and seize the head & rotor! be careful, Ed.

Ed is right if your feeding a rosamaster. I ran a blue holly on our7580 for like 5yrs. without problems. also fed the XT with the same pump set up for pullen.lived forever . never siezed a pump.

Pro stock motors run 3.5 psi just use two pumps for alot of volume.
