Is it still a magneto or does it have a distributor? Go to Duey Schutter's wiring diagram page. Here is a link for 12 volt conversion.

Thanks for the link, however our unit is the original 6 volt positive ground. Any help would be great.

The B and C wiring diagram is the same as the CA. It is down toward the bottom of the page. If you still have the magneto that is. If you don't have a mag you would have 6volts going to the coil instead of a grounded kill switch to the mag. Everything else is the same.

Here's picture of a wiring diagram I found on the side of my 1948 model C battery box after I started stripping paint. Hope it helps.
