Cousin has an AC 6060 with Roosa-Master fuel pump. Tractor will idle , but cannot be accelerate. Local technician is tied up with full-time farm clients. Any thoughts on the problem?

Take the fuel line off at the pump and see if you are getting fuel at the pump.

another classic symtom of a broken flex ring in a Roosa. take out the return fitting(top of pump), clean out all the particles, and make sure the ball can move. put it back in, this will get you a little time till you can fix it right. Alot of guys say just knock out the ball, and now its fixed, WRONG! The plugged return is just the by product of the real problem, a pre-warning sign. try running it with the timing window screws loosened. good luck, Ed.
