Hi I have a neighbor who has an allis chalmers plow (I think it is) that is 3pt hitch attach and was a 4 bottom extended to 5 bottom. He would like to know what it is worth? It has 5 16in bottoms. Thanks Located in east central iowa

Around here the iorn buyers have been paying $300 to $400 for 5 bottom plows at auctions when there 2 or more buyers there.

I just sold one like it, $250, all 5 bottoms, no add-on bottom's.  They came and hauled it.  I would like to have had more but when you have a buyer, sell and not be sorry.

Considering todays farms, it's really just a lawn ornament or scrap.  I don't know what scrap prices are today, but I wouldn't offer any more that that.
