    Posted: 28 Mar 2010 at 12:59pm
I just got a AC Power unit the other day and have some questions about it.  It has a yellow hood but the rest of the engine is orange and has a AC I.D tag.  It has a WC radiator on it like what was on a WC.  I was wondering if this could be a LeRoi power unit since this one has a yellow hood.   I am also interested in finding side shelds for this unit.   My last question is are there different books for the power units and the tractors or are they the same.

                                                                            Thanks in advance,      Steve.

Some of my manuals cover both tractors and power units. You will have to determine which motor it is.
Waukesha B, B, IB, G, styled WF, D15, 615 backhoe, 2-Oliver OC3's, 4 Ford Model T's, 3 Model A Fords, AV8 Coupe, AV8 Roadster, 1933 Ford Wrecker

Some were orange, some were yellow.  These were later power units, after Leroi.
I have one yellow with a 149 c.i. engine and one orange with a 160 c.i. engine.  The radiator has a similar appearance to a WC but different overall including mounting, sizes up to the large diesels

I am pretty sure that mine is a W-25 or a W-201 not sure.  It looks just like a wc or wd engine and like I say the radiator looks just like the one off of our WC.     How hard are parts to find for these units.
