Here is a scan of the 1976 flyer for the 720.  It is an 8 page flyer that opens double wide and then opens again to 4 pages wide.  Hard to describe but here are the 8 pages.

 thats real cool it also raises alot of questions for me now that i own  a 616 that does not run yet especaily about that pto box  it must be a gear reduction ?

HudCo - I'm not clear on what you mean by gear reduction on the PTO.  I may be able to answer your question but do not understand the question.  Not trying to be smart...just helpful.  Den

how fast does the pto shaft turn with the fine splines say with the engine at 3000rpm  on the tractor right now without this 540 box or is the box somthing just to adapt shaft sizes

 reading back there on attachments reduces 2000rpm to 540  is that at 2000 engine rpm also like a direct drive

HudCo, I think I'm following your thoughts now.  The tractor's PTO is called 2000 rpm and the shafts are different splined plus being reversed with the female end being on the tractor.  I think that you were referring to the 540 attachment.  Yes, it is a gear down from the 2000 RPM to the 540.  I've never seen one for a 720, 620, 616.  I've see them for the smaller garden tractors (they drive by belt off the machine)   Den

sounds like we might have to do a little fabricating this winter after we close i have a line on a60" inch howse tiller that is meant for a 540 pto or may be the tiller could be geared diff.  thanks for the flyer  i am getting excited to get this 616 running hope the tranny is ok no one knows about it except that the engine whent south about 10 years ago
