as long as it is divided all the way to the turbo it will be better than any AC manifold.

Will the divided manifold help if the exhaust housing doesn't have a divider in it

Yes. It would work better with a divided exhaust housing, but the exhaust pulses are better used with a divided manifold from what I understand.

The IH manifold has three advantages over the A-C manifold. #1. The exhaust flow only turns once coming out of the head (left or right) #2. the runners are a little smaller than the A-C keeping expansion from occurring until it hits the turbo #3. absolute pulse flow with built-in divider wall. The best IH manifold would be from a truck which would position the turbo down on the side instead of up under the hood. I haven't seen this after-market manifold, but doubt that is has more than the divider wall and flunks on #1 and #2.

The IH manifolds don't have  same bolt hole spacing and are not a true center dump.

You have to make 1 inch thick spacers to adapt to the A-C head. Been there....dun that... it works better than ANY A-C exhaust manifold. The best would be the IH truck manifold.

The one Crank Machine Service is making is a much bigger, and better looking setup for pulling. It's just whether your rules would allow since it's not oem, and couldn't pass for oem either. The cms that posted is the builder. Dan Karpel, 618-401-2386 is on a card I have.

Will the IH manifold clear the stock oil cooler pipe on the 426?

I did it to a D-21 and had the oil cooler removed for the in-line injection pump, so I can't really answer your question with certainty.

Seen some pics of the CMS manifold and I dont see a divider in the manifold. Im not saying that its bad but it really wouldnt be any better then the stock D21,210,220 manifold. Otherwise it looks nice.

One company I'd love to have build a manifold would be "Steed Speed" look up the manifold that they build for the 5.9Cummins
