   Have an ac b-112 does not charge after tried cleaning contact points in regulator. I accidentally closed cut out contact and blew fuse. Can i test regulator and fix it thanks for any help Jeff

   Make sure that regulator is grounded correctly. Won't charge if it isn't. If the points aren't that good in the VR, you'd be better off renewing it. Should be good ta' go then...

   Thanks steve i finished cleaning contacts,cleaned all connections made sure base was grounded with meter. no its charging around 13.8 volts sometimes up to 14.3 just off idle
