Here is a quick overview of hiw I put 38's on my WC.

I started with flat slat spoke rims off a Farmall F20. Bolt pattern is the same. F&H 6 bolts were as well.

I started with cutting the 36" outer rims off the centers leaving the spokes as long as possible.

Next I ground amd cleaned all the spoke ends. (I should have taken more pics)

I unmounted the tires and tubes from my new rims.

I found a nice flat spot on my shop floor and laid the center in the rim.

This is where an extra set of hands is great. I did some figuring on my offset because I wanted the keep the tires in tight for two reasons...one, its better for pulling and two, so it fit my trailer. 3 7/8 from the face of the center hub to the first rib on my new rim was just right. They're off a Farmall M. Any rim will work with some figuring.

After figuring the offset we found some things to set the center on to get it to stay at height....a WD wheel weight and a front tire/wheel off a WC worked well. After that we found true center. Then we took each side and took 4 opposite spokes and set height and tacked each in place. The spokes were obviously short going from a 36 to a 38 so I took 1/4 strap steel and made spoke extensions.

I'll post pics when I'm done explaining. ..anyways. ...after doing this we mounted the rims to the tractor with a tire on it to make sure we weren't too narrow and had clearance. Then took the tire off again. Spun the rim while measuring from the frame rail as an equal point to make sure we were running true (glad I did this as one outer rim was bent so we adjusted it by vutting two spokes loose and moving them out...it runs true but if someone is paying attention they'll notice the spokes are in different spots...it functions right is all I care. After all was straight and true it was time to weld weld weld. After doing all the outers I trimmed the extensions amd blended them them flipped and welded the backs. I smoothed edges with a flap disc and mounted them up....voila' 38's on the WC. Then I had to build new wheelie bars and weight bars and an adjustable hitch but that's another story lol...any questions feel free to ask.

I didn't have a way to weigh them but I'd guess rim and center to be 120#
