The 1968 D15 gas that I have posted on here before is in need of a new ignition switch.  The one that is on it is in no way like the ones on my other allis D15s.  I believe it to be factory though, because the hole where it goes, is made to fit it, and not the older larger ignitions on the other tractors I have.  Why the change in the ignition for these models over the older ones?  The only thing I have found that looks close to this ignition is a Lawn mower switch. will this work??  Any help apreciated.  Thanks, Scott

Check with Tony C (Tony's Tractors), Jim D (OK Tractor) or Norm. These folks advertise on this site and most likey provide you with a replacement ignition switch. Best if you have your tractor S/N and model (series I or Series II) handy when you contact them.

I'm about 98% sure you have an Indak brand switch which is just like many rinding mower switches. Check your key, I'll bet it fits just about every riding mower, or just about any other piece of power equipment that has a key.

most of the series II D15's had the flat indak key, They changed it superseded by 235785 part number. Yeh my D15II has that crazy indak key also. It was made that way because it has alot smaller hole for the switch than the earlier ones.
