Just replace manifold gaskets on my 45 and it has a Nelson on it.  This is the first one I've had personally and have a question about it. Is there some sort of a gasket that would go into bottom of it or anything like that.  When I set it down on and it "bottoms" out, the holes are about 1/2 a hole low so I have to Raise it to get bolts in.  I notice that it still puffs exhaust downward around the bottom of the muffler.  If I take bolts out and let bottom out, it does not blow exhaust out.  Thanks, LArry

Larry, I have not seen that before on a Nelson muffler. I don't know of a gasket for one.
You might just slot the bolt holes out on the muffler a little to get it down in the manifold.

I'll look for a number on it and see.  I think the guy i bought the tractor from put it on and got it from the AGCO dealer in Ashland.  Slotting the holes would work ok also I guess
