I am kind of confused by this rear oil seal deal.  Some have said to soak them in oil before installing and some have said to put gasket sealer on them to "glue" them in the cap and block, otherwise they might spin with the crank and start leaking.  Also, any tricks in getting them installed.  They seem quite a bit bigger than the grooves they are supposed to go into.  Look like a real b...tch to get in.
