My dad looked at a 160 today. It has an Allis loader, not sure of the model. Perkins 3.152 diesel in pieces, supposedly rebuilt when he bought it. Local Agco dealer said some one turned the crank to far and went through the hardening, needs a crank, or this one rebuilt, not sure of the cond of the rest of the motor, good sheet metal, good 14.9x28 and truck tires on the front. Hrs unknown. Two ?, what is it worth, and where can I look up the serial #. No serial # on here or YT.

with the motor all apart the max I would say is 1500 thats mainly for the loader. If its full hyd is a allis 460. But finding a good crank will be the hard part.

There isn't any listing of serial numbers for the one-sixties, that I have found anyway. If you locate one, let me know. Mine is 142458 and was told it was a 1970. That is information on the original manual I got with it from the grandson in law of the original owner. However, I was also told, it was purchased new in 1974, so there are some inconsistencies . . .

Serial # for mine is 140996. My uncle was the original owner and purchased it in July of 1970.

Parts for that perkins shouldnt be 2 hard to find, they were used in the d272, 160, and 6040 as well as some ford tractors. We just bought 2 rearmain seals for our d272 and 6040 through the agco dealer, if they cant get parts id try a new holland dealer in your area, just a thought.
