I have a wd bone stocke i am planing on pulling the gov dosnt seem to go very high i was wondering if there is a way to adjust it or change it to get more out of it

Make sure all your throttle linkages are goof and tight. Over the years they begin to wear into one another which can cause a lot of slack and a drop in rpm

There is a very good amount of slop in linkages. Whats the best way to fix all of that?

not an expert but that seems like way too much carb for a 201
There are 3 ways to do job GOOD, FAST, CHEAP. YOU MAY CHOOSE 2. If its FAST & CHEAP it won't be GOOD, if it's GOOD & CHEAP it won't be FAST, and if its GOOD & FAST it won't be CHEAP!!!!

#1. The carb from a G-2500 from a One-Eighty is different than a carb from the G-2500 in a One-Ninety. #2. Neither will bolt on to your manifold as the bolt pattern is too wide. #3. Even if you managed to get it bolted to the manifold, you'd have to rework/modify the throttle butterfly lever to fit your engine. #4. Pretty sure it would require an electric fuel pump to keep fuel in the bowl.

Ok i was just wondering thought i c if it would work im just going to put d17 g springs in and c how it does it seems strong gust no rpm
