just got a first design 46" sickle mower,anyone know where to get new or good used sections and guards

These guys had knives last I had seen.
 
 
There is no source for new guards. There are some good used guards from a Simplicity walk-behind on ebay now. Its quite an investment to overhaul one of these machines.

Did a little more looking and they do have the knives individually sold. I believe you can choose from several types of serration.

I bougt all of mine from them.I have rivets if you need them..
