I've never used them, but I've heard pullers around here talk about them. Only bad things to say about them

We have a set of Armstrong 18x38 on 18 inch rims. They are real sharp from road wear. They are on a 806 right now and do awesome. Better the more weight you put to them. I had them on the xt before and had to drop a gear cause they hooked up so good. Other results may very. I'd buy another set of them for sure.

I know of zero Antique clubs that allow radials. Go ahead and put some on and if you start winning, at the next Rules meeting they will be banned.

You need to get a set of  Firestone 15.5-38s. Better yet, find 2 sets, call me and I'll take the second set off your hands.....

You won't be able to open it up until you get a load on the engine (about 1/2 - 2/3 down the track ) by then you'll be glad you have 38s.

Dr is right. Most clubs don't allow radials. But if by some chance you can run them, they'll make a big difference. The firestone 23* is the tire of choice around here. Firestone f151 is pretty popular in a bias ply.

I'm pretty sure the largest antique tractor pull in the world allows radials. Tunica

Rules are pretty loose at tunica compared to most clubs.
