has anybody dealt with a william stevenson from belle vernon pa.? he called me with some parts I had advertised for a long time ago. he gave me a price and said just send me a us postal money order & I'll send you the parts. I checked his name out on the computer and a person on tractor house said he's a scam artist. I want to know if anybody else has dealt with him or knows of him. thanks

Don't know the guy, but if he is a scammer, he's a dumb one. USPS Money Order is one good way to leave a Mail Fraud trail if you do not intend to live up to your end of the bargain. By cashing that MO and not sending parts, he would commit a Federal crime.

I live about 15 mi. from belle vernon, i had afriend check the phone book for a listing for william stevenson but could not find one. Most belle vernon no,s are 929 exchange. What no. do you have? ron

Just for fun I did a people finder on Google. Nothing game up. With and addresses you stand a better chance to fine him on Google. Also you can do a reverse phone search.

he had a 724 phone #. he called again tonite & I backed out on the deal. I guess I don't need the parts that bad. Told him I didn't want to chance buying parts without seeing them, especially that far away. he said he understood & hung up. heard another story where he didn't pay for parts somebody sent him. Thanks everybody for kind the advise.

You've gotta kind of wonder what kind of bonehead would get caught and then continue to do it while under house arrest. I suspect he will be spending quite a while at crossbars ranch with a full scholarship in stupidity!
