I never understand why people will pay more money for less tractor then spend all that money, to sell it for less then they have in it. The person I purchased this tractor from had $4236.00 in receipts, not counting his or grandsons labor. Had the tractor for two years the gave it to grandson. Two months later grandson sold tractor for $2100. I guess I'm not smart enought to understand this?

Grandpa would give grandson right arm.
If Grandpa and Grandson worked together, Grandpa probably really enjoyed the time knowing how precious that sort of thing is. Grandson not aware of that yet. takes time for granted. Grandson got tractor for nothing. Easy come easy go. 22 hundred bucks... Grandson can get cool old old toyota Camry. How'm I doin? |

WOW... Very profound and right on target. Too bad for the grandson. Cars come and go but that tractor will haunt him later. When he becomes old enough to realize the mistake he made, he might even spend hours searching for Grandpa's tractor and spend 3 times the money to get it back! Sound familiar?

Yep, I wish I had more time with grandad. He's been gone since '95. Dad still has his old C. I remember time spent with grandpa working on tractor and with tractor. Wish I had more of it. My brother started doing a little work on the tractor. We had talked about fixing it up together, now brother is gone too. Always seem to be too busy to do it, not too busy to regret not doing it, Hindsight being what it is.
