I am going to remove the hand clutch from my WD. I need to loose the weight and also it has began to slip again. I am out of shims, so it's time for it to go. I tried all day yesterday to find a PTO gear to couple the shafts together. My local salvage yard doesnt have one "broke" to get one out of. He is in the middle of a clean up and said he would be at least two weeks before he could look for one. Searching the site for other ways I see where there is a coupler from Grainger that will work. Who has done this? does it work fine? The Grainger item # is 15V694. We pull this Saturday and then have a three week break, lots to happen in those three weeks... Help me out guys, I want to loose maximum weight, going to put sealed bearings in to keep from running oil in the housings. If anyone has something that will work they would sell let me know. I haven't ordered anything yet. I want to hear your opinions first.

when you remove the battery box and remove the hand clutch cover its bolted to the front clutch plate and slides up onto shaft. you will have to have yours and a donors and bolt the two together with the procedure already outlined to you on yt pulling forum . sorry i do not have a actual picture of the hub.

There is a coupler that joins the shafts together. Pretty cheap to buy, go back sealed bearings if hyd. and pto has been deleted
