I put a D-14 transmission into a D-15 diesel with no problems. the D-15 transmission has a few different part numbers for some gears but if you check the D-14 part numbers they update to the D-15 numbers. It's been a few years but I remember the the PTO shafts are slightly different lengths. |

The D14 and D15 have almost the same gears. The reverse gear pinion shaft in the D14 was prt number 232497 and the D15 was part 241367 with the torque lock design. All other gears were the same with the exception that the D-14 had two different reverse idler gears depending on the age of the tractpr. Later D-14 tractors have the one that is the same as the D-15. The CA, D-10, D12, D14, D15, H3, and HD3 tractors shared many of the same trany gears.
The D-15 and CA have the same pinion shaft. I have the pinion shaft from a CA in my D-15 and they had the same casting number.
