If you could give a little more information like, class rules, weight, pump and turbo limit, cubic inch limit, MPH class etc. I'm sure you will get some good info on this forum.

well im not a puller but from just what you have said so far, you have the lowest (hp) 426 engine in the heavier 7000 series chassis.

There's nothing wrong with a 7030 for a puller depending on what you want to do with it. If you are looking for a farm stock class I think you would get along just fine. Hot farm probably OK too depending on the competition. The problem is, "hot farm" is a very loosely used term and a rules book is needed to see what it means in your area.
If you can find a pulling organization close to you with weight classes around that 9 - 11,000 lb range, thats where a 7030 is going to fit. The class rules (as far as cubic inch, pump, turbo etc) will determine what you are going to have to compete against and what you will need to do to compete. After that, the faster you go the more you will spend.

a properly set up fuel injection system (pump & injectors) and a nice turbo will make that tractor fun and competitive in farm stock classes where rules are enforced. pm me for more details on the fuel and air.
