Curiousity has set in, I have been offered (At a price) a older 977L cat, was there a equivalent in Allis for these? I am probably not going this route but may look at something AC or F/A this size to compliment the 7G which is becoming something of a project rather than a worker.

Not sure Allis or Fiat ever had anything the size of a tracked loader like the 977. I ran a Komotsu about the same size, I think it was a DS75. Thats a monster for a tracked loader model.

Well I missed that one anyway, went for $15,000, was going to take a specialized hauler to move it at 46,000#.
